A life-long lover of sports and life in nature and a remarkable sportsman since his childhood
He enrolled in the Chilean Navy’s Marine corps when he became 18
During his service, he was part of the Corp’s Track and field, Orientation and Military Pentathlon teams. His outstanding performance in these sports earned him the opportunity to represent Chile in a variety of Sport events

He ran his first adventure race in Chile in the year 2000, when he still was part of the Chilean Navy’s Marine Corps Special Forces
2 times participant of “Desafío de los volcanes” (Volcanoes Challenge) 500 km (310 miles), reachining the 10th place in the 2004 version, and 4th place in 2006
Elite orientator and South American Champion in 1999
1st place in 2018 Uruguay Senior South American Orientation Championship
3rd place in 2022 Brazil Senior South American Orientation Championship
6th place in the South American Adventure Race finals in La Gesta, Paraguay.
15 years of experience organizing adventure races in Chile, for the “Columbia Challenge” circuit, with more than 120 races organized and designed
