This race will take place in the region of Coquimbo, the entry gate to the Chilean desert.
This zone is known for its long coastal landscapes, with the Pacific ocean to the west, and the Andes mountain range to the east. With a semi-dry weather and little to no vegetation, it posses a tangled terrain that makes it difficult to navigate it. It’s all of these aspects that make it an amazing stage for an adventure race, that will take the participants across unique landscapes and geographical zones. With the winner earning a place among the finalists of the 2023 South American finals.
